Apart from our summer plans for the beach, the nightlife offer of many of our national destinations, the touristic route we are obliged to follow during our holiday and being able to sleep until we can sleep no more, the summer brings sun and longer days.
As we are talking about the perfect time of the year to enjoy long walks in the open air, to meet with friends on terraces bursting with life… how about if we enjoy the most attractive and chic terraces of a destination such as Barcelona? That we are passionate about Barcelona is not a secret, so what better than to pay homage to this urban destination by highlighting some of the best terraces in the city. Would you like to come along with us?
Here we go:
- La Guingueta: Not very far from the city, around 15 to 20 minutes on the metro from the stop situated near to the Petit Palace Barcelona, the Guingueta is a beach restaurant created by the chef Carles Abellan. A place, where without a doubt, design is the dominant factor. Well known for their natural fruit juices, the menu of tapas and salads and their high class cocktails, the situation is perfect to treat yourself to a front line sunset on the beach with no closing time. Exactly what we like so much!
- El Cercle: Situated in the high zone of the Gotico building, El Cercle is an ideal terrace for those who want to relax with a good glass of wine or an artisanal beer and, at the same time, enjoy the passing of tourists and locals crossing from one street to another. To get to the terrace of El Cercle all you have to do is make your way to the Portal del Angel, very near to the Petit Palace Boqueria Garden.
- Torre Rosa: If you are looking to enjoy a lunch or dinner with friends and want somewhere away from the bustle of the city, make sure you choose the Torre Rosa. A terrace situated in Francesc Tarrega Street and characterized by its bucolic surroundings and unique corners. Our recommendation is that you decide on an evening on the terrace at sunset in their exclusive chill out area because Torre Rosa is one of those places where you feel completely at home. You don’t feel like taking the metro and you prefer to go by bicycle to the location? At all our hotels in Barcelona such as the Petit Palace Museum, there are special prices for bicycle hire.
